kāmera, n. Camel.

‘E manu pu‘apinga te kāmera nō te ‘aere nā roto i te mētēpara.
The camel is a useful beast for travelling through the desert;

Kua ‘aka‘oro kāmera ana te ‘Ārāpia.
The Arabs rode camels;

ki runga i te puku o te kāmera,
