koki, v.i. Limp, limping, lame.

Kua koki ‘aia ki te pae i te mataara ē kua topa ki raro.
He limped over to the side of the road and fell down;

Kua koki ‘a Ma‘a i tōna ‘oki‘anga ki te kāinga.
Ma‘a limped back home;

‘Auraka koe e tā‘anga‘anga i te ‘oro‘enua, ‘e vaevae koki tōna.
Don’t work the horse, it has a lame leg. (See kokikoki, pirikoki, tākoki(koki).) [Np. *koki.]
