ta‘ata‘a2, (-‘ia), fq. tata‘a.

1. Castrate.

Kua ta‘ata‘a pou roa au i te au toa puaka.
I’ve castrated all the boars.

2. Gut, cut off intestines, offal, as in cleaning an animal for eating.

Kāre i ta‘ata‘a‘ia ake the ngākau puakatoro.
The cow’s intestine hasn’t been gutted yet;

He is really quick at gutting pigs.
