pikika‘a

pikika‘a, (-‘ia), n. Lie, mislead, deceive, betray, pretend; false(ly), under-handed(ly), in pretence only; deceit, etc.

Tē pikika‘a mai nei ‘aia iāku ē i ‘aere ana ‘aia ki te ‘ura i napō.
He is lying to me that he’d been to the dance last night;

You are an awful liar;
