tanutanu, (-a, -‘ia, -mia), fq., dim. tanu.

1. Plant or cultivate land, fill in (a hole).

Tē tanutanu ‘ua ake nei au i tēia au ‘uri taruā.

Fill those holes in.

2. The act of planting, etc.
