ti‘amā

ti‘amā, v.i. Free of guilt, blame or obligation, innocent,

‘E tangata ti‘amā ‘aia, ‘ea‘a rā kōtou i tāpepe pikika‘a ai iāia?
He is an innocent man, why then have you brought false charges against him?;

Kua tatarā‘ara au kiāia, kua ti‘amā au i teianei.
I have confessed it all to him and am absolved now;

Kua ti‘amā koe i teianei, ‘auraka koe kia ‘ara ‘aka‘ou.
You are free to go now, don’t break the law again.
