torokū, torokuku, v.i. Damp, musty, dank.

Kiritia tō pona, kua torokuku i te ‘ou.
Take your shirt off, it’s wet with perspiration;

Taria te kāka‘u torokuku, tauraki‘ia.
Take the damp clothes away and hang them up;

Tē ‘ora‘ora pūtē torokukū ra ‘aia.
He is spreading out the damp sacks;

Nō te torokuku iā roto i taua pi‘ā ra i pū‘ēkā ai te meika i roto.
