tu‘i1, (-a, -‘ia), v.i. Rich (in taste), fatty (of foods), cloying; richness, etc.

Kāre e tu‘i ana tā‘au tai ‘akari, ‘e ma‘ata roa te vai.
Your coconut sauce isn’t rich enough, there is too much water in it;

‘E tai ‘akari tu‘i tēia.
This is a rich sauce;
